Rafael Javadov
Violin & Piano Lessons
Rafael is a classically-trained violinist with a Master's Degree in Violin Solo Performance, Orchestral Performance and Chamber Music, as well as Teaching from one of the top conservatories in the world. He served as Music Director of the EthnoWorld Orchestra, which has performed throughout the metro DC area including at the Cherry Blossom Festival on the National Mall in 2017.
Javadov is also a pianist at the Peabody Ballet School in Baltimore, Washington School of Ballet and at the George Mason University Dance Department. He brings to his work a talent for improvisation and composition that is exemplified by the dance performed by the GMU students to his original work which was also performed at this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival.
A regular featured musician in the music we create, Rafael also offers lessons in violin, electric violin, and piano. He brings to his lessons over thirty years experience as a violin performer: orchestra, solo, quartet and duo. He also has over twenty years of experience teaching at all levels (from beginner to virtuoso) and all ages. Mr. Javadov offers lessons grounded in the classical tradition with a focus on helping the musician establish technical mastery and an ability to balance the musician's own unique sound with a sound that is beautiful to the listener.
